Med School Coach has a team with over a century of combined clinical and academic experience. They have coached over 15,000 students, and they guarantee the best possible guidance.
In my BS/MD interview prep my coach thoroughly described the types of questions asked by the program, how I should go about answering them, and then gave me a mock interview. After I answered each of her interview questions, she gave me tons of feedback and told me what I should practice. Her feedback has greatly helped me prepare for my interview.
Dr. Lee is extremely nice and down to earth. She guided my son very patiently for almost 2 years and helped him get into the BS/MD program. My son has a full ride for under graduation. This entire process was daunting. But Dr. Lee and Rob Rivas helped us through the extremely stressful application and interview process. We couldn't have done this without their help and guidance. We feel blessed to have found Dr. Lee and MedSchoolCoach. Thanks for everything!
MedSchoolCoach has been incredibly helpful with my personal statement and secondary essays, helping me effectively communicate my experiences and qualities. They have also been a huge help with CASPer preparation. I am glad to have them assist me every step of the way with this process!
The OMSAS editing service has proven to be an invaluable resource throughout my application journey. Their team of professionals provided unparalleled guidance and support. They meticulously reviewed my application, offering insightful feedback that significantly enhanced its quality.
Dr. Mandalia provided a plethora of good ideas to work into my responses that will help me strengthen my overall narrative and presentation. He noted my strengths and weaknesses and gave me many different ways to address my weaknesses. He is clearly incredibly knowledgeable about what interview committees look for and was able to elaborate on these points in great detail.
MedSchoolCoach has been such a great help in my MCAT studying! My tutor, Lejla, is the best! She has helped me create my own study schedule, always makes sure I understand what we review, and provides me with MCAT-style practice questions. I wish I would have found MedSchoolCoach a lot sooner. It would have made my life so much easier. I definitely would recommend this tutoring service to my friends and peers!
As a reapplicant the advice I received got me accepted! Strengthened my personal statement, secondary essays and provided much needed assistance with interview preparation. Awesome resource to have in your corner throughout the application process.
Med school coach was extremely helpful, especially developing my personal statement! They helped me put my dreams into words. It was also so wonderful to have a team of support when facing the daunting secondary essays. Highly recommend it!!
In short, this is a first class organization. They don't just take your money and let you fend for yourself. They work with you to create a personalized plan for both how much tutoring you need as well as how to most effectively use your tutoring time. Every single minute was high-yield stuff with no wasted nonsense. If you want to succeed and are looking for the right people to help you reach your goals, look no further. Seriously.
I used MedSchoolCoach to help me study for the USMLE Step 1 exam and was so thankful for their help! I highly recommend Abdul as a tutor! I was really nervous about the exam and really at a loss about how to study before working with him. He provided a personalized approach and we systematically tackled all of my areas of weakness before the exam. After our sessions, I walked into test day feeling infinitely more confident than I would have been without his help!
Dr.Nelson is great at giving constructive feedback. He puts you at ease and tells you exactly what you need to improve on and change. His tip about using part of the question in your answer was especially helpful.
I really liked that the mock interviews were tailored to my needs and felt very realistic. Also the questions were actually about my activities, so I had practice talking about my activities as well as some generic questions to talk out my answers. I would highly recommend anyone trying to get actual interview practice!
Dr. Blair Nelson consistently went out of his way to help me by offering insightful advice and recommendations for my essays. He was easily reachable and responded quickly. He also helped me feel very comfortable for my interviews by helping me hone in on my strengths and act naturally. Most importantly, he cares deeply about his students' success. Dr. Nelson helped me during my second application cycle. His help made this second cycle much smoother and less stressful. I attribute much of my medical school acceptance to his dedication and support. I would recommend him to anyone! 10/10!!
I’ve gotten nothing but incredible support throughout this application cycle. All my advisors (MD and writing) were very helpful and responded promptly. The customer service was also top notch! For instance, when I encountered technical difficulties with the MCAT practice exam platform, they made sure that everything was quickly resolved and that I could access the exams as scheduled. I’m still in the middle of the cycle and I believe it’ll end well. I could not be feeling this relaxed had there not been the support from MedSchoolCoach! Thank you!!!
This experience provided me with a better understanding of the structure of a B.S./M.D. interview and gave me greater insight into what interviewers would like to hear. Dr. Steph Lee was very thorough and supportive throughout the entire process! I would highly recommend this service if you're preparing for an interview.
I had an amazing experience with MedSchoolCoach. Coming off a failed application cycle, I felt very lost and confused about how to navigate another one. Then, I met Dr. Nelson and my outlook completely changed. He has single handedly been one of the best mentors I have ever met. Always going above and beyond, inspiring me along the way, and genuinely wanting to see me achieve my dream. I know for a fact that my journey into medical school wouldn't be the same without him. I can't recommend him enough!
I'm a non-traditional student, applying for a medical residency during covid. I encountered many obstacles that had me pretty demoralized at times. Dr. Blair Nelson kept my spirits up, and demystified the process, making it seem more manageable. I'm now in orientation for my residency, and I'm not sure I'd be here without his help. We still talk and I keep him updated on my progress. This service was worth every penny. Two thumbs waaay up.
I bought the interview package and the mock interviewers were all so incredibly helpful! It was clear that they were very invested in my success!
I was a 3rd time applicant to medical school and I didn't realize how much of a difference having a great advisor could make. Medschoolcoach really made all the difference the 3rd time - was accepted to 3 MD schools, something I never thought would have been possible! I can't say enough great things about my advisors who constantly checked in and encouraged me. Would not hesitate for a second, just wish I had used them the first time!
Susan was a great mock interviewer— she gave me very helpful advice on how to tweak my answers to showcase my skills. I recommend everyone do a mock interview with a Med School Coach!
MedSchoolCoach provided me with all the tools that I needed to successfully gain an acceptance to medical school. Sahil and the rest of the team were very helpful throughout the whole process. I purchased the Platinum Package and I was paired with Caitlin who was with me every step of the way. She extensively helped me to prepare my personal statement and make it well-polished, and she gave me insight into the interview process through mock interview sessions via Skype. I felt more than prepared during my application cycle and the team really helped me to shape up my application and my secondary essays into a neat format that made my candidacy as a medical school applicant more desirable. You have to do the work yourself, but they are here to guide you and make the experience as seamless as possible and assist you so that you can showcase your strengths and convey that you are the right fit for medicine. I have gained an acceptance to my top school and my interview season was extremely successful thanks to this brilliant team. If you are looking for the best in Med School prep, MedSchoolCoach is the way to go!
Med School Coach was an excellent resource for my path towards medicine, and I greatly appreciated the one-on-one attention for Primary Application completion and interview preparation. I cannot thank the staff enough for all their effort in systematically addressing all aspects of the application and guidance in school selection. I was especially fortunate to work with Sahil, whose exceptional professionalism and helpfulness guided my efforts to matriculate into a top medical school. Thank you for an amazing application cycle, and I hope MedSchoolCoach continues to deliver exemplary coaching to aspiring physicians of the future.
Folks at MedSchoolCoach are extremely knowledgeable on the intricacies of medical school admission. They helped my son substantially, especially in interview prep. Sahil, the company founder, is exceptional as his staff Highly recommend them.
I used Med School Coach's MCAT tutoring to prepare for my MCAT exam this past January and highly recommend their program! I was a non-science major and decided to pursue a career in medicine half way through my college career, and the MCAT was something I was extremely nervous about. I purchased the platinum package and took the diagnostic practice exam and scored a 496. Ken, (their master tutor) helped me put together a study plan for my January test date. I worked with Coral for my sciences and Connor for the behavioral foundations section. While working on content review with my other tutors, Ken would give me research articles that were much longer and more difficult than anything on the exam. He took me through them paragraph by paragraph, and helped me prepare for the exam's most challenging passages. When we finished the content review phase and started practicing, I was given a google spreadsheet to put all my wrong answers into and my tutors could figure out what I was still struggling with. We went through every concept I missed to make sure I wouldn't miss them again on the exam. I ended up with a 515 (19 points higher than my diagnostic exam)!
I am so glad that I met the team at MedSchoolCoach!! Their ongoing support via email, phone, and skype was a truly invaluable resource in the entire medical school application process. The highly qualified team personalizes plans that help you achieve your goals while remaining realistic in your expectations. They are extremely approachable, friendly, professional, and young so not far-removed from the process! I am currently a medical student, and continue to use their services in preparation for my next round of applications- residency. I thank the MedSchoolCoach team for helping me and I recommend them to all who are on a similar path.
MedSchoolCoach did a great job helping me with my secondaries for med schools. They were fast, efficient, and very precise in editing my work as well as communicating my mistakes to me.
Really insightful and cleared up some misconceptions I had about the med school journey. I liked hearing about the future of medicine and application process.
Working with MedSchoolCoach was a great decision. My advisor was very helpful and was able to answer any question I had-and during the application cycle, I really did have a lot of questions. She also put me at ease and helped me so much. She was also a great mentor. MedSchoolCoach provides excellent mock interviews as well-they helped me prepare for my real interviews and gave me confidence. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone-the advisors are friendly and knowledgeable. I have multiple medical school acceptances and I really appreciate MedSchoolCoach for all that it did!
MedSchoolCoach helped me construct my application in a way that made me stand out as an applicant in an incredibly competitive field. As a reapplicant, it was quite difficult for me to objectively assess my weaknesses. My coach provided me with critical feedback, and worked with me to reshape my personal statement, to review my secondaries (+30) countless times, and to help me prepare for both MMI and traditional interviews. I gained acceptance to one of my first choice medical schools 4 months later, and cannot thank the team at Med School Coach enough for that.
I honestly have to say that I don't think my application would be as strong as it is now without the help of MedSchoolCoach. The heads up and insight that they provide in order to submit everything on time is priceless not to mention the one-on-one help for primaries, secondaries, and interview prep. I am excited to work with them through this next year knowing that they are going to be there from start to finish!
